Here we will continue with our previous tutorial, and this time we will provide a tutorial to block Youtube and Facebook using the IP menu> Firewall.
Block Youtube and Facebook at School Learning Hours
The step before blocking Youtube is that we must set up the Gateway Server first. If you have connected the next step we will block the youtube site.
Enter the IP menu >> Firewall >> Layer 7 Protocols. Select the "+" sign, then fill in youtube.com as the site that will be blocked.
First, on the Firewall menu then select the Layer 7 Protocols tab and then select the '+' sign as below, Regex:
^. + (youtube). * $ | o-o.preferred.pttelkom- | a.youtube.com | b.youtube.com | c.youtube.com
| d.youtube.com | e.youtube.com | f.youtube.com | g.youtube.com | h.youtube.com | i.youtube.com
| j.youtube.com | l.youtube.com "| (facebook.com). * $
The next step is to select the Filter Rules tab then select '+' then select the chain with forward,
Then the next step select the Advanced tab, then select layer 7 with the one already opened at layer 7
After that in the action menu we fill / select it with drop
The last step is that we try to test on Youtube via the browser by filling in (youtube.com) in the search column, and see the results, the youtube site has been successfully blocked
